What's new for 2024?

The new Mercedes-Benz C300 sedan for 2024 now comes with parking sensors, satellite radio and wireless smartphone charging as standard features. Otherwise, the C-Class sedan remains largely unchanged.

Trim levels

For 2024, the Mercedes-Benz C Class offers buyers from Corinth and Tupelo, MS just three trims to choose from: Premium, Exclusive and Pinnacle.

Performance

Every Mercedes-Benz C-Class model is driven by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that can deliver 255 horsepower. The turbo-four gets the able assistance of a 48-volt hybrid system that can temporarily deliver an extra 20 horsepower. The new C-Class comes with standard rear-wheel drive and offers all-wheel drive as an available option.

According to Car and Driver, the C300 4Matic with all-wheel drive can take you from zero to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds. Other independent sources have tested the AMG C43 and recorded a zero-to-60 time as fast as 3.9 seconds. When you want to decelerate in a hurry, the C300 braking system can take you from a 70 mph speed down to a complete stop in just 154 feet.

Fuel economy

In rear-wheel drive, the C-Class sedan will give you an estimated 25 MPG on city streets and 36 MPG on highways around Somerville and Holly Springs, MS. Move up to all-wheel drive and you'll get 24 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway.

Interior highlights

The new C-Class reflects the same visual elegance and advanced technology as the larger S-Class sedan. Every trim comes with a digital gauge display and controls that are responsive to the touch. The steering wheel looks just like the one in the S-Class and you'll find an abundance of standard luxury features like open-pore wood trim, aluminum accents, heated front seats with memory settings and a sunroof. The new 2024 C-Class is about 2.5 inches longer than last year's model and the wheelbase adds an extra inch.

Infotainment technology and design

The touch screen is angled toward the driver to make driving easier and you'll find the latest version of the Mercedes-Benz MBUX infotainment system onboard. A large 11.9-inch touch screen comes standard and so does wireless smartphone connectivity, a five-speaker stereo, satellite radio, wireless device charging and biometric fingerprint memory settings. Other standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry and a sunroof. You can upgrade to a Burmester premium audio system with 15 speakers and a panoramic sunroof.

Safety features

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class for 2024 comes with standard safety features that include automatic high-beam headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and a rear-view camera. Available safety upgrades include adaptive cruise control, a lane-departure warning system, a head-up display, front and rear cross-traffic alert and a surround-view camera.
